As president and CEO, Al Wofford over sees an organization of more than 200 technology professionals. CDO’s vision is to, “Create an environment where our people leverage technology and process to build innovative and sustainable solutions”. CDO offers the unique advantage of experience and ability along with agility to adjust at the speed of business. CDO is a recognized expert in the application and integration of Auto ID, Mobile, sensor and telecommunication technologies. CDO is versed in the latest infrastructure and cyber security technologies, methodologies and platforms. Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio. CDO operates in eleven states nationally. CDOs’ service markets include the Department of Defense, Health Care, Consumer Products, Manufacturing, Logistics, Education, Transportation, Federal Civilian Agencies, and State and Municipal Governments agencies among others.

Prior to founding CDO Technologies, Al was the President and COO for RCF Information Systems from 1990 – 1995. In his time with RCF, the company grew from a staff of 40 to approximately 200 employees.

Al has also been recognized with several awards for his entrepreneurial success and community involvement, including the Inc. Magazine and Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year (1995), Omega Psi Phi Business of the Year, SCOMSDC MBE of the Year (2003), Ohio Department of Development Entrepreneurial Achievement Award, SBA Regional Minority Small Business Person of the Year (2003), and the SBA Entrepreneurial Success Award (2008) to name a few.

Al holds a B.A. degree in Accounting and an M.B.A. in Management. He has completed numerous executive and professional development courses to include; Six Sigma Green Belt, Strategic Planning, Advisory Boards, Mergers and Acquisitions, Business Planning and Financial Management. He has served on the board of directors for numerous public and private organizations, some of which include; CityWide Development, Wright State College of Engineering and Computer Science, Wright Brothers Institute, Wright State Applied Research Corporation, Dayton Business Committee, and Dayton Development Coalition. He also serves as the Board Chair for the Omega Community Development Corporation.
