LaToya Masterson has recently transitioned into a new role as Director of Education for the Learning Institute. The mission of the Learning Institute is to create the practices, strategies, plans and approaches needed to ensure Premier Health’s workforce is prepared to provide the highest quality care, both now and in the future. We do this through providing development, training and education to our leaders and employees.
LaToya has over 16 years’ experience within healthcare. LaToya joined Premier Health in 2002 and has served in various roles of increasing responsibility within the organization including: Patient Care Technician, Registered Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, Team Leader, Educator, Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing/Respiratory.
LaToya obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Sinclair Community College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capital University and her Master of Science in Nursing in Leadership & Management from Walden University. LaToya strives to be a better leader daily. Her number one goal is to create a positive work environment & culture for her teams to provide excellent quality of care, service and experiences to all the patients & customers we encounter
