Reginald Harris, LISW, CTP holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University School of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Organizational Leadership from Roosevelt University. He is the Region 6 Chair for the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), Political Action for Candidate Election (PACE) committee, and sits on the board of directors for the NASW Ohio chapter, Equality Ohio, Caracole, and the Hamilton County Community Development Advisory Committee. Currently, Reginald works as a macro social work practitioner as the Community Life Senior Manager for The Community Builders, a nonprofit real estate development company. As a certified trauma practitioner (CTP) – Reginald has developed an art-focused training that addresses trauma and the ways in which it impacts students’ cognitive and emotional development and academic achievement, and works closely with arts education organizations on becoming trauma-informed. Additionally, Reginald spearheaded an 18 month Department of Health and Human Services demonstration housing grant for homeless LGBTQ young adults (18-25) called BrightLife, at Lighthouse Youth and Family Services in Cincinnati, OH.
