Dr. Gore is an Associate Vice President at The University of Toledo (UT). She is responsible for the creation and teaching of the Graduate Online Diversity Certificate Program in the Culture Building Institute and directing the UT Minority Business Development Center. She also serves as the Executive Director for the UT Eberly Center for Women, and is the Primary Investigator (PI) for the State-Funded Minority Business Assistance Center Program overseeing 17 counties.

Dr. Gore teaches, mentors both undergraduate and graduate students. She also serves as a dissertation committee member for graduate students needing an expert in the area of diversity. She has been recognized as an African American Legacy Emerging Leader of Excellence and is a Toledo Urban Federal Credit Union Community Appreciation Award winner. She serves as the President of the Ohio Diversity Officers Collaborative, an Executive Board Member for the American Council of Education (ACE) Women’s Ohio Network, and a Governing board member of the Toledo Zoo. She has been published and presented at competitive conferences such as the Annual Meeting of the Higher Learning Commission, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the National Diversity Council Leadership Conference, and the Annual National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education. Dr. Gore is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. She received a Bachelor of Communications degree and a Master’s of Communication with a study emphasis on minority communities in the Greater Toledo Ohio area. Dr. Gore earned a Doctor of Education in Leadership Studies and her research area was involvement behaviors and minority medical student retention.
