Rhonda Talford Knight is helping to accelerate Huntington’s inclusion strategy with a specific focus on increasing workforce diversity, workplace inclusion, and community engagement. With more than 15 years of experience executing cultural competency strategies, Knight works with business segment leaders and her human resources partners to deliver Diversity & Inclusion training and to integrate inclusive leadership and recruiting behaviors across the enterprise. Knight also manages the bank’s Business Resource Groups and Inclusion Councils, which are voluntary, colleague-driven groups organized around shared interests or common diversity dimension.
Before coming to Huntington, in her role as President & CEO of her own firm, Rhonda spent time working with clients on developing strategic plans, implementing inclusive practices, and establishing affinity groups, all focused on diversity, inclusion, equity, and advocacy. She is proud to have worked with clients to create a foundation of inclusion and sustainable practices. She has also been a requested guest facilitator at Anadolu University in Eskişehir, Turkey and traveled to Cuba to support creating cultural and global understanding.
Recognized nationally and internationally for her work, Knight holds from The Ohio State University a master’s degree in education and a doctoral degree in Social Studies and Global Education with a focus in Cultural Competency and Technology. She is committed to supporting women and girls, and volunteers in various capacities with: Girls Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, Columbus School for Girls, Dress for Success, WELD, and the Women’s Fund. She is also a founding member of the Matriots, an Ohio independent political action committee, and a board member for ROX™ (Ruling Our Experiences), the national leader on research, education and programming for girls.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Rhonda resides in Canal Winchester with her two daughters, Alexis and Alia.
