Adriene Hairston MS, SHRM-SCP,is responsible for overseeing Metro’s Human Resources department and organizational training. She is an accomplished human resources professional with expertise in HR policy, diversity and inclusion, change management and compliance.
Prior to Metro she served as director of agency human resources at Western & Southern Life and held leadership roles with Fifth Third Bank, Luxottica and Humana. She is a member of the Greater Cincinnati Human Resources Association, the Society for Human Resources Management (holding the designation of Senior Certified Professional), and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., in addition to serving as a volunteer for Women Helping Women and the YMCA Black and Latino Teen Achievers Program.
She holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Xavier University and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati.
