Marie-Joelle C. Khouzam, a partner with the Columbus firm of Bricker & Eckler LLP, advises management clients on employment law issues and defends them in court and administrative agencies. She also conducts customized on-site employment management training and is a frequent speaker and author of employment-related topics.

Ms. Khouzam serves as Bricker & Eckler’s Diversity & Inclusion committee chair, and is the firm’s 2015 Fellow to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. She served on the Steering Committee of the Ohio Management Lawyers Association and is immediate past president of the Ohio Municipal Attorneys Association. She is listed in the “International Who’s Who of Management Labour & Employment Lawyers”. She is consistently awarded the top peer rating of AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and is on its Bar Register of Preeminent Women. She has been included in Ohio Super Lawyers’ Corporate Counsel list, Employment Law list, and Top 25 Women in Columbus lists, and named in Best Lawyers in America. She has received the Columbus Bar Association’s Community Service award, the Ohio Diversity Council’s 2009 Most Powerful and Influential Women in Ohio award, and the Northwest Rotary’s 2008 Woman of the Year award.
