Alicia Tidwell is a diversity and inclusion expert and community supporter that dates back 20 years. She is a certified Master Mentor and has built sustainable long term relationships across the Midwest. Alicia is the President and CEO for GenesisOne Consulting that provides services for HR Operations, Diversity and Inclusion and Executive Coaching. She has consulted for the University Cincinnati Hospital, Urban League of Greater Cincinnati, Children’s Hospital, and Winton Wood High School. She has also led the diversity and inclusion efforts for Luxottica Retail North America and supported over 30,000 associates across the enterprise on their diversity journey. She develops and maintains relationships with grassroots organizations, community organizations, and individuals to promote the success of women, children and the entrepreneur spirit of businesses owners.
She has led the Luxottica Tiger Mentoring Program for the past 11 years and supports 45 student that travel to Luxottica corporate headquarters in Mason for 1 on 1 development and mentoring. She expanded the Luxottica Mentoring program to include Withrow International/University High schools to introduce 625 netbook computers to support 1,200 students and 70 faculty and staff.
She is an executive coach working closely with executives and business owners to help them develop leadership competencies and management skills to advance their personal and professional goals and objectives. She supported over 5 Employee Resources Groups with 400 members at the Luxottica Retail
Corporate Headquarters. Alicia is involved in exploring joint ventures opportunities with organizations like Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, T-Mobile, Underground Railroad Freedom Center and many others for the purpose of educating and changing the lives of our youth.
Alicia Tidwell works tirelessly to support her community, organization, city and the state of Ohio. She is Board Chair Southwest Ohio Workforce Region Investment Board, YMCA Advisory, Executive Board member of the YWCA and former board member for the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. Her passions for serving her community and the youth of this city set a standard of excellence and a belief that all is possible.
