For more than twelve years, Siobhan has been supporting and serving the Columbus LGBTQ and African-American communities. Siobhan has served as Advocacy Chair and Vice President of the OSU GLBT Alumni Society (Scarlet & Gay), treasurer and event chair for the Legacy Fund of the Columbus Foundation, and secretary and event chair for the advisory board of the Eldon and Elsie Ward Branch of the YMCA. She now serves as a member of the steering committee of Black, Out & Proud and as a board member of Move United Church.

Siobhan’s nonprofit career began in 2012 at Kaleidoscope Youth Center, where she held administrative, development and marketing duties. She joined Stonewall Columbus as Development Manager in 2016, leading all fundraising areas, including a $4 million capital campaign to renovate and expand the Center on High. Siobhan’s current role as Development Director at Equality Ohio allows her to leverage statewide support for the legal and lived equality of all Ohioans.

Prior to joining the nonprofit sector, Siobhan practiced domestic and appellate law in Central Ohio. She was a founding member of the Columbus Bar Association’s LGBT Committee and served the domestic and juvenile courts as a guardian ad litem. She is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC and the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University.

Siobhan shares her life with wife Maritza, 14yo son Mars, dogs Macy and Saturn and grumpy cat Scrooge. Weekends are filled with track and cross-country meets, crafting, karaoke, and fellowship with her Move United Church family.
