Andrew Moss is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor who is currently serving as the Director of Stabilization Services at Maryhaven in Columbus, Ohio. As the Director of the Maryhaven Addiction Stabilization Center, Andrew oversees 105 workers in a 55-bed facility that has been created to provide comprehensive medical and behavioral treatment services to individuals who have experienced opiate overdose. Those individuals are taken to the Center directly from hospitals or occasionally by EMS workers immediately after revival. The Center provides people with an opportunity to obtain supports and tools for breaking out of the cycle of addiction. Andrew was closely involved in the design, planning, and implementation of the Center.
Andrew also works as an adjunct faculty member in the Social and Human Services Department at Columbus State Community College. Additionally, he is a member of the Treatment Committee at the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. Andrew is also a member of the Stonewall Columbus Board of Trustees. He previously worked as the Director of Outpatient Services for House of Hope, and he has been a trainer and volunteer for Suicide Prevention Services, both located in Columbus.
