Kroger

Bill Green currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for Kroger’s Columbus Division. In this role, he is responsible for managing the functions of asset protection, inventory management, store labor, food safety, frontend operations and online grocery ordering for 121 stores across Ohio and the panhandle of West Virginia.

Prior to joining the Columbus team in 2016, Green served as Director of Regional Operations for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. He joined Kroger in 2000 as an attorney in the law department at Kroger’s Cincinnati headquarters.

In 2003, he entered the company’s management training program, and then went on to serve in a variety of management positions. Green earned his bachelor’s degree in business from Howard University and his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Kentucky. He has a passion for community, and spearheaded the Columbus Division’s partnership with Junior Achievement.

He is a strong advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities through his involvement with Special Olympics Ohio and Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio.
