Susan Kovach is Libbey’s vice president, general counsel and secretary. She oversees all legal matters for Libbey’s operations throughout North America, Europe and Asia and Libbey’s sales in over 100 countries, and is responsible for the legal, compliance and corporate secretarial functions at Libbey. Having joined Libbey in December 2003 as vice president, associate general counsel and assistant secretary, Ms. Kovach moved to her current position in July 2004.
Previously a partner and associate at Dykema Gossett PLLC, Ms. Kovach most recently was of counsel to the firm from 2001 through 2003. She also served as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of Omega Healthcare Investors, a NYSE-listed company, from 1997-2001, while concurrently holding the same position at Omega Worldwide, a NASDAQ-listed company, from 1998-2000.
Ms. Kovach received her juris doctorate from Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law and her bachelor’s from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
An avid golfer, Ms. Kovach lives in the Stone Oak community with her husband and two feline children.
