Colleen Arthur is the director of Lockheed Martin’s Integrated Defense Technologies (IDT) market segment within the Mission Systems and Training (MST) Ship & Aviation Systems (SAS) line of business.

She is responsible for strategic and execution activities of all IDT capabilities and programs, including sub-market segments of Coast Guard and mission systems; controls, launchers, weapons, and ship systems; laser and sensor systems; and surveillance systems.

Ms. Arthur is also the Akron, Ohio, site general manager leading approximately 700 employees and is responsible for businesses located in Baltimore, Maryland; Moorestown, New Jersey; and Bothell, Washington.

Prior to assuming her current role, Ms. Arthur was the director of program management for flight systems within the heritage Lockheed Martin Global Training and Logistics business unit and was responsible for the F-16, F-35, F-15 and F-22 simulator devices and for supporting multiple domestic and international customers.

Ms. Arthur began her career with Lockheed Martin in 1988. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.

She is involved with the University of Akron’s Women in Engineering advisory council, which focuses on encouraging women to enter into the STEM — science, technology, engineering and math — fields.

Ms. Arthur, along with her husband, resides in Medina, Ohio, with their two sons.
