Dean Monnin is a Senior Vice President in the Columbus, Ohio office of JLL, a Fortune 500, global real estate firm. He is the Project Management practice lead for JLL’s Ohio Region and manages a staff of ten Project Managers in Cleveland, Columbus and Cincinnati.

Dean joined JLL in 2004 where he has successfully led teams of architects, engineers, vendors and contractors to complete hundreds of millions of dollars of commercial real estate projects throughout the United States for clients such as The Ohio State University, P&G, Whirlpool, Deloitte, CVS, and the United Health Group. Mr. Monnin has nearly 20 years of experience across a wide range of project types including industrial, office, retail, cinema and multi-site development projects. He is currently assisting Bowling Green State University in their efforts to complete a $200M Master Plan update to their academic space.

Since its inception in 2012 Dean has also been the National Leader of JLL’s LGBT Employee Resource Group named “Building Pride.” In coordination with Building Pride JLL has become recognized as a leader in LGBT workplace rights by implementing improved LBGT workplace protections, gender identity healthcare policies, career development opportunities, LGBT recruiting and awareness campaigns. These efforts have earned JLL a perfect score with the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index.

Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Monnin lived in Washington, D.C. where he managed capital improvement projects for Freddie Mac and worked for a variety of Architecture firm.

Mr. Monnin holds an M.B.A from Johns Hopkins University, a bachelor of science in design from the University of Cincinnati and is a LEED Accredited Professional with the U.S. Green Building Council.

When not in the office you will find Dean on the Scioto river enjoying his hobby of rowing competitively with the Greater Columbus Rowing Association.
