Eden Sulzer is director, Women in Pharmacy, at Cardinal Health, a role she created and assumed in January 2014 to connect the growing number of women pharmacists with resources and support, including tools to help seize the opportunity of indepenent pharmacy ownership.

Prior to this role, Sulzer led the company’s internal communication function, where she provided communications counsel to senior leadership and drove companywide communication to 34,000 employees worldwide.

Before joining Cardinal Health, Sulzer was vice president at Dix & Eaton, an integrated communications consultancy, where she advised public and private companies in the healthcare, banking and chemical industries as well as non-profits. She specialized in counseling clients on communicating with their employees through periods of change.

Sulzer started her career at NCR Corporation where she held roles in internal communication, marketing communications and proposal management.
She is accredited through the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and serves as a board member of The Bindu Project, which works like private equity for charitable start-ups during their formative stage.

She graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and minor in Spanish. She lives with her husband and two children in Columbus, Ohio.
