Cheryl Coleman, MSN, RN, CNOR, CRSCT, is the Director of Perioperative Services at Dayton Children’s. In her role, Cheryl is responsible for Pre-op, PACU, Operating Room, Sterile Processing and Distribution and the integration of surgical services at the main campus and Springboro campus of Dayton Children’s.

Cheryl has more than 33 years of clinical practice and surgical expertise and served in various leadership roles in critical care and surgical services in organizations throughout the region, Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital of Premier Health and at present Dayton Children’s.

Cheryl has a Diploma in Nursing from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Mount St. Joseph and a Master’s in Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University.

Cheryl is recognized for her passion for nursing practice excellence and integration of policy and application to the practice environment at the hospital and at the system level. She is laser focused and puts the needs of patients first.
