Mr. Andre Lessears Sr., currently serves as the Director for the Office of Diversity & Inclusion for Cleveland Clinic Akron General. A native of Northeast Ohio, Mr. Lessears holds a Bachelor’s degree from Walsh University (History) and he received an MBA in Organizational Development from the University of Dubuque. As the Director for Diversity and Inclusion, Mr. Lessears, is responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that engage Cleveland Clinic Akron General Caregivers and embeds effective diversity and inclusion practices into the day-to-day operations, practices, processes and Caregiver development. He is also a Qualified Administer (QA) for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). His experience includes Director of Multicultural Student Services for the University of Dubuque, Director of Intercultural Student Services for Midwestern State University, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and Training and Workforce Development Coordinator for the City of Dubuque, Iowa.
