Mishawn D. Styles serves as the Human Resources Director for DePaul Cristo Rey High School in Cincinnati. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing and supporting policies, programs and procedures for leadership and organizational success.

She began her organizational development career in 2007 at the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati as its first H.R. Manager. She then worked with Sears Holdings on its global transformation project as a People Coach where she was quickly promoted to the role of District People Coach and then to Operations Manager. A progressive opportunity ensued with Pomeroy, I.T. where she managed full cycle Recruiting & Workforce Planning domestically and abroad before joining HCR Manor Care as its Director of Human Resources; these roles were in addition to teaching diversity and inclusion courses at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

Her wealth of experience includes regulatory compliance, diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership skills transference, and career projection-coaching. Mishawn works as a consultant and independent contractor helping companies navigate employee relations challenges, compliance audits and leadership development. She is frequently called upon to help resolve confidential compliance challenges.

Mishawn volunteers with the American Cancer Society, Lupus Foundation of Cincinnati, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. She has served as an H.R. Committee member for The HealthCare Connection and provided spring and summer enrichment programs for the Lincoln Recreation Center – QKDT Studios.

She is a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also holds a master’s degree in labor and employee relations from the University of Cincinnati.

Mishawn lives in Cincinnati with her husband of 23 years, Sterlin.
